Officer facing charges in death of George Floyd pleads guilty

Paul Walsh and Kim Hyatt of the Star Tribune report that Alexander Kueng was convicted of the state charges against George Floyd’s death. Tou Thao will have a trial by a judge and not a jury.

An Axios Report from Jonathan Swan states that Fox host Tucker Carlson gave Minnesota’s 6th District Congressman Tom Emmer an ultimatum over a phone call. “Either reveal the name of the staff member who took a swipe against Carlson’s son, a Capitol Hill Aide, in an article on internal House GOP politics — or Emmer would assume Emmer was to blame.”

Matt Sepic, MPR’s correspondent on Feeding our Future, reports that a fourth defendant in Feeding our Future is likely to plead guilty.
