Fewer than half of Minnesota students are proficient in math

Edercampuzano, MaryJoWebster and Mara Klecker from the Star Tribune report state test scores this week. About 45% of students who took the Minnesota Comprehensive Assessments or the Minnesota Test of Academic Skills were proficient in math, and about 51% were proficient in reading. About 7% of students didn’t take the tests this school year.
