Expanded food stamp program may have short shelf life as hunger increases in Minnesota

According the Minnesota Department of Public Health in 2019, there were approximately 393,000 Minnesotans who received food stamp benefits. This number grew to almost 437,000 people in July 2022, an increase that is approximately 44,000.
